Group coordinator, Zacharia Parvez, contacted many for the plasma. He got a ready response from young advocate Zeeshan Ali and Gulf-based entrepreneur Hyder Ali. Both had suffered from coronavirus infection and successfully came out of it. They have since returned.

He said he spent Rs 8,750 towards expenses on the visit and blood group classification charges in the hospital. He said he is happy that he could help to save the life of a patient.
Hyder Ali from Bajpe said that Qasim Ahmed, head of a social service organization, 'Hidaya Foundation' had called him to inform him that a patient was badly in need of plasma. He said he readily went to Bengaluru to donate plasma. He says that more people may come forward to donate plasma if the plasma collection centre begins functioning in the city.
