Mangaluru: St Agnes College organise online certificate course

Mangaluru, Aug 7: The Department of Commerce organised an online certificate course on 'Essential Skills To Survive In a Dynamic Corporate World' from July 1 to July 10. The course was of 30 hours duration which comprised of daily Q & A sessions, submission of feedback forms, quiz and assignments.

The beneficiaries of this course were 72 students of UG and PG from the nearby colleges in and around Mangaluru.

The course was designed to focus on areas of expertise needed by employees to deal with real-life challenges at the workplace. In addition, it targeted on how to tap current employee’s potential and build their competencies to achieve the employer’s goals.

Daily sessions were conducted on Survival of the Fittest, Corporate Tips, Etiquettes, Power of Motivation, Teamwork, Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Leadership Potential, Time Management, Ways to Cope with Stress, Conflict Resolution, Facing an Interview confidently, Presentation Skills, Writing a Professional Resume etc.

The resource speaker of this course was Rodney F Vaz assistant professor of commerce, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru.

The certificate course was highly appreciated by the student participants. E-Certificates were issued to the students on completion of all the feedback forms, quiz and assignments.
