Karkala, Aug 5: The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, NMAM Institute of Technology, NITTE is organizing an AICTE sponsored online Short Term Training Program (STTP) series on 'Advanced Topics in Machine Learning and Applications in Engineering and Technology' from August 7 to September 5 covering three STTPs of six days each.
The first STTP is on 'Mathematical Foundations of Machine Learning (Linear Algebra & Probability Basis)' being held from August 7 to 13. The second STTP is on 'Mathematical Foundations of Machine Learning (Statistics and Neural Basis)' being held from August 14 to 21. The final STTP in the series is on 'Advanced Topics and Applications of Machine Learning' being held from August 13 to September 5. The STTPs focus on the mathematical foundations of Machine Learning, Linear algebra and Probability basis, Statistics & Neural basis and Advanced Topics & Applications of Machine Learning.
Dr Ashok Rao, former head, Network Project at CEDT, IISc, Bengaluru is the chief resource person for all the three STTPs. More than 40 faculty members and research scholars from the AICTE approved institutions across all states of India are taking part in this online STTP series. Dr Subramanya Bhat, associate professor, department of E&CE, NMAMIT will be coordinating all the STTPs. Dr Rekha Bhandarkar, professor and head of the department of E&CE, NMAMIT is the convener of the event.
