Udupi, Jul 29: Home quarantine of 14 days is a must for people arriving from abroad or other states and those who were in direct contact with them is mandatory. A software app is developed to keep an eye out on those who violate home quarantine and isolation regulations. Their details will be available in the app.
Cases are registered against 69 people who violated COVID-19 home quarantine regulations defying the officials who visited houses, created awareness and warned against violations.
Cases will be registered and legal action will be taken against those who are in home quarantine and home isolation and wander about violating regulations, said deputy commissioner G Jagadeesha.
