Bantwal, Jul 23: Coronavirus has caused problems to everybody including those on the frontlines. Kusuma, a health assistant at Vitla community health centre has not been able to go home since the last four months and has remained in the house of her relatives. She is the resident of Bayar, Kasargod. She is the senior superintendent at the health centre and also maintains the position of taluk health superintendent. She used to go to her residence at Bayar every day, but now due to the pandemic, she is unable to go home.
Health activists in coronavirus treatment have to essentially maintain social distance. Kusuma finds it difficult to go home as the Kerala government has adopted stringent regulations at the border. Therefore, she was required to stay in the house of her relatives. Her dedication to the job certainly deserves appreciation.
