Mangaluru, Jul 14: Vikaas Pre-University College, Mangaluru, has once again come out with outstanding achievement in annual second Pre-University board examinations results— this time producing the fourth and seventh ranks in the Karnataka State in Commerce stream. Apoorva M secured the fourth rank scoring 594 marks out of 600 holding the flag of the college high. She was proudly followed by both. Priyanka H and K Raksha Bhaktha who shared the seventh rank scoring 591 marks out of 600 apiece.
The college achieved more than 99 per cent success in PU results, combined both Science and Commerce streams. The Science session achieved 99.08 per cent while the Commerce session enjoyed a success of 98.88 per cent. Over 14 students of Commerce session and 13 students of Science session secured 95 per cent and above making the achievement of the college par excellence. A total of 138 students secured distinction and 159 students passed with first class.
