Udupi: Thimmappa Hotel popular for non-veg food sealed down after proprietor feared positive

Udupi, Jul 4: Thimmappa hotel in Adi Udupi popular for non vegetarian food is sealed down from this afternoon after fears of its proprietor being infected with coronavirus.

His throat swab is sent for lab tests and reports are awaited, said district health officer Sudhir Chandra Sooda to Daijiworld.

Hundreds of customers visit the restaurant every day. This is the second hotel that is being sealed down in Udupi. Those in primary contact here are being quarantined.
