Kasargod: Falling jackfruit takes away life of man

Kasargod, Jun 29: A person who suffered from injury inflicted by a falling jackfruit, and who also was coronavirus positive, died of injuries inflicted by the jackfruit on Sunday, June 28. Auto Rickshaw driver, Robin Thomas (42), was from Ennappara Mukkali Kariyath Kothur.

Thomas was being treated at the Pariyaram Medical Collee Hospital at Kannur here. A jackfruit had fallen on him when harvesting the fruits from a tree at his home last month. He was admitted into the hospital with serious injuries, where tests confirmed that he was also suffering from coronavirus infection. But he had recovered from coronavirus infection later.
