Udupi, Jun 28: FIR is registered against two COVID-19 infected people for providing wrong travel history information and primary contact details to the district administration.

Because patient numbers 10186 and 10187 provided wrong information to the concerned authority, there was a delay in tracing people who contacted them before the infection set in.

Hiding vital information of this sort is a crime. The health department has requested the public to cooperate with the district administration in the fight against coronavirus pandemic and provide any information on time to prevent the spread of the pandemic
