Kolkata, Feb 15: Five South African One-Day International specialists arrived here Sunday for the three-match ODI series against India, starting Jan 21.
Herschelle Gibbs, Loots Bosman, Charl Langeveldt, Albie Morkel and Roelof van der Merwe joined the other players now part of the squad for the ongoing second Test.
The three-match One-Day series kicks off at Jaipur Feb 21, with the other two games slated for Gwalior (Feb 24) and Ahemdabad (Feb 27).
South African media manager Michael Owen Smith told IANS that the five players will have their first practice session either Monday or Tuesday.
"They are tired after the long journey. So they may take rest for a day before getting into business," he said.
