Udupi, Feb 13: President of Railway Passengers Association, R L Diaz, has informed that the Mumbai CST – Karwar train has been extended up to Mangalore, and the temporary time table of this train has already been published in this connection.
Train No. 2133, leaving Mumbai CST at 10.50 pm, is scheduled to reach Panvel at 11.20 pm. It reaches Karwar at 8.15 am the next day. As per the present schedule, it will reach Mangalore Central railway station at 12.10 pm. The train No.2134 will leave from Mangalore Central station at 1.50 pm, reach Karwar at 5.40 pm, and reaches Mumbai CST at 4.05 am.
This train will get the sanction in the current year’s railway budget, and once it is sanctioned, it would be extended to Mangalore in about three weeks. The period of its halt in Thane and Udupi will be published after the railway budget is presented, Diaz has explained.
