Kasargod, Jun 16: A person employed in the Gulf region, who had recently returned to the country and was on home quarantine, breathed his last all of a sudden.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Rahman (54) from Uduma South Karippodi.
Abdul Rahman and his son, Jishad, had returned home from the Gulf on Saturday morning. They were on home quarantine.
On Monday morning, doctors of Uduma primary health centre had collected the throat swab samples of Abdul Rahman and Jishad. The samples were sent for testing. The test report is expected to be received on Tuesday June 16.
After he suffered from breathing complications Monday evening, Abdul Rahman was admitted into the district hospital. He did not respond to treatment and passed away late night on Monday.
