Thiru'puram: Former TV Daijiworld Anchor, Kirti Mohan, Wins Awards

Thiru'puram, Feb 2: Kirti Mohan, a former anchor of TV Daijiworld, recently won the ‘Best Advocate of India’ and ‘Best Gentleman Advocate’ awards at the fifth Justice Ramachandran Memorial Moot Court Competition, conducted by the Government Law College, Thrissur.

His team mate (co-counsel), Preethika Pilinja, won the ‘Second Best Lady Advocate of India’ award.  His team, comprising Preethika, Kirti Mohan and Ann Alexander (researcher), also won the ‘Best Team with Maximum Marks’ award, having secured maximum marks in all the rounds.



Preethika is a fourth year law student of SDM Law College, who recently secured the first rank in BA degree examination.

Kirti Mohan is a third year law student of SDM Law College.

Ann is a second year law student of SDM Law College.

26 teams from all over India had participated in the moot court competition. The competition, which began on January 29, continued till February 1. The issues dealt with mainly, were the problems of student politics in colleges and universities across the country.  The valedictory function held on Sunday January 31, was presided over by Justice Thottathil B Radhakrishnan, Justice K Surendra Mohan and Justice C K Abdul Rahim, judges of Kerala High Court.
