Mumbai, Apr 29: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who was recently seen in the film Sikandar, took to social media on Monday to share glimpses of himself enjoying a swim, days after postponing his much-anticipated Bollywood Big One shows in the UK.

The actor posted three photographs on Instagram, where he could be seen posing bare-chested in a swimming pool. Captioning the pictures, Salman wrote, “Eello ji sanam hum aa gaye…………. Ab itna bhi gussa karo nahin jaani,” borrowing a famous line from the iconic song Eello Ji Sanam Hum Aa Gaye from Andaz Apna Apna, which recently saw a re-release.

The post comes shortly after Salman announced the deferment of his upcoming live performances in Manchester and London, originally scheduled for May 4 and 5, as a mark of respect following the tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

In a heartfelt note shared earlier, Salman stated, “In light of the recent tragic events in Kashmir, and with profound sadness, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone The Bollywood Big One shows.”

He added, “While we understand how much our fans were looking forward to these performances, we feel it is only right to pause during this time of grief. We sincerely apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause and deeply appreciate your understanding and support. New dates for the shows will be announced shortly.”

The show also features big names like Sara Ali Khan, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, and Sunil Grover.

Earlier, reacting strongly to the Pahalgam attack — which claimed 27 lives including that of a local civilian — Salman had posted on X (formerly Twitter), “Kashmir, heaven on planet Earth, is turning into hell. Innocent people are being targeted. My heart goes out to their families. Ek bhi innocent ko marna puri kainaat ko marne ke barabar hai (Killing even one innocent is akin to killing the entire universe).”

The terror outfit, The Resistance Front (TRF) — considered an offshoot of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba — initially claimed responsibility for the attack but later backtracked, alleging their website was hacked.

Meanwhile, the incident has escalated tensions between India and Pakistan, with New Delhi suspending the Indus Waters Treaty and releasing waters from the Jhelum River, which subsequently caused flooding across the border.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has since taken over the probe into the deadly assault.
