Mangaluru, Jun 6: B Mohan Nayak (87) passed away at his residence in Mannagudda, here on Thursday night June 4 after a brief illness.

He was a social activist and had served as a member of the Besant Educational Institute managing committee for more than 40 years. He was also the former president of
the Rotary club, Mangaluru.

He has left behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and a large number of friends and relatives.
