Kasargod: Missing man found to have hanged himself

Kasargod, Jun 6: A 58-year-old man who had gone missing since June 2, was found to have hanged himself. The body of Narayana from Mugumeru in Puthige gram panchayat was found hanging from a tree inside the forest area near his home.

Narayana's son had filed a missing complaint. The police who launched a search operation, found the mortal remains on June 5. Postmortem of the body was performed at Pariyaram Medical College Hospital thereafter.

The deceased was the husband of former president of Puthige gram panchayat welfare development standing committee, Pushpa. He is survived by his wife, a son, and a daughter. Kumble police had registered the case.

The deceased ws working in a garage in the past. Later, he had started to distribute lottery tickets at Seethangoli.
