Bengaluru: MLA Tanveer Sait murder attempt - Four accused secure bail

Bengaluru, Jun 4: Four persons, named as accused in the attempt on the life of MLA and former minister, Tanveer Sait at Mysuru in November, were granted bail by the high court on Wednesday June 3.

The accused, Noor Khan, Akram, Siyed Muheeb and Abdul Baig had filed bail applications. The single judge bench of the high court chaired by Justice K S Mudgal upheld the petition.

The bail has been granted on condition that each of the accused should furnish Rs 50,000 personal bonds and the same amount of security, they have to appear in the court during all the hearings, they should not destroy evidence, and they should not take part in any criminal activities.

Tanveer Sait was near Banni Mantap in Mysuru on November 17, 2019 when an attempt to kill him was made.
