Kundapur, Jun 2: Earlier, the coronavirus test report of a Shankaranarayana police station staff here had come out positive. It led to suspicions towards the report considering that the concerned does not perform duties outside the police station and has no travel history to high-risk places.

Accordingly, to seek clarity the throat swab of the staff was sent again for tests on June 1. On Tuesday, the test results sent for a second time were received. It was a relief for everyone when the second report came back negative.

As a precaution, coronavirus tests are being conducted on all the police personnel in the district.
