Mangaluru, Jun 6: The last Sunday of the official national lockdown 4.0 will go down memory lane.
The batch of students from St Aloysius High School that passed out in 2003 organized a first of its kind digital reunion that consisted of students across all time zones in different parts of the world, ranging from Dubai, Kuwait, Muscat, Germany, USA, Canada, Zambia and several other places.
The 3 1/2 hour duration Zoom meeting call covered memorable moments from high school days, funny incidents with teachers and to top it all, the highlight of the meeting was a guest appearance by Sheryl Prabhu, senior faculty at St Aloysius High School, who was more than elated to connect with her old batch after 17 long years!
Prabhu could recall almost every single face and their naughtiness during the school days. She was very happy that all her students have settled down with respectable professions from doctors, engineers, financial experts, restaurateurs to Bollywood business etc.
With the revolution of digital technology, old friends can now be connected remotely from wherever they are located and relive those moments. This digital reunion was one among them!
The former students plan to have the next one on a bigger level, where the 2005 PUC batch of St Aloysius PU College will be reunited.
