Mangaluru: Frustrated with life, man hangs himself

Mangaluru, Jun 1: A person residing near Goddess Mariamma temple at Urwa here hanged himself from a tree standing near his house.

The person, identified as Ganesh Nayak (45), reportedly was unemployed. On Saturday night, he used a long white cloth to make a noose and used it to end his life.

Nayak was unmarried and was roaming around due to inability to bag any employment. He also had several health problems. In a complaint, it is guessed that Nayak would have decided to kill himself out of frustration with problems of life.

Urwa police, who have registered a case, are investigating.

    Sad news. My condolence to his family. What the highly rich people of Brahmin (konkani) people are doing. Why are they not taking care of needy and poor family from their own community. Many rich konkani people are in Mangalore and most of them are businessmen . Hope they will think about this.
