Udupi, May 30: Bell-O-Seal Valves private limited company is functioning in Santekatte here since the last 29 years and has become famous in the country and abroad in the manufacture of quality valves. The company is one among six companies recognized in the world by Euro Clore, and the only one in the country.

Gujarat’s Kakrapar nuclear power plant has identified it as the excellent performance center in 2003. Bell-O-Seal has succeeded in supplying quality Isolation valves and three valves manifolds to Rajasthan’s nuclear power center.

India used to import such valves in the past at exorbitant rates from European countries. Bell-O-Seal is manufacturing such valves since the last six years on calls by prime minister for ‘Make in India’ and ‘Vocal for Local’. “We have become primary manufacturers of valves and serving the country,” said managing director of the company, Rajesh Kumar Salina.

Nuclear Power Corporation of India has commended the achievements of Bell-O-SealCompany which manufactures valves of international standards.
