Bengaluru, May 6: The education department is mulling the practicability of holding SSLC examination during the second or third week of June this year. This clarification was given by education minister S Suresh Kumar, during his Facebook live programme with the SSLC students and their parents. He told them that after the timetable of the examination was published, the students would be given a minimum gap of 15 days before the actual start of the examination. He also said that the examination will be held after the situation turns normal.

At the same time, the Union government has said that it would hold the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) on June 26. Human resource development minister Ramesh Pokhriyal was the one to announce the same. He said that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for 2020 which was postponed will be held between July 18 and 23. He added that a decision will soon be taken to conduct examinations for CBSE 10th and 12th standards.
He also has suggested conducting remaining college examinations during July.
