Udupi, Mar 24: As per the orders issued by the Excise Commissioner, the Udupi Excise department directed Sarvada Distilleries to prepare 1632 bottles of hand sanitizers.
Each bottle consists of 180 ml liquid. The 1632 bottles were packed in 34 boxes.
Of these, 10 boxes have been handed over to Udupi city municipal Commissioner to be distributed among municipal workers.
Around 15 boxes have been handed over to the Health department. Five boxes have been handed over to Udupi superintendent of police and 1 box to Udupi deputy commissioner’s office. The remaining 3 boxes have been distributed among staff of Udupi Excise department and other allied departments.
