Kundapur, Mar 24: The Janata curfew that was held on Sunday is continued till March 31 here after the gap of a day. Entire Kundapur has responded to it despite the heat in the coast.

Most people had remained at home on Sunday due to Janata Curfew. But people who were worried after the virus victims were found on Sunday also, got down to the street in front of shops on Monday fearing another Lockdown. People did not give heed to the orders that they should not flock and should cover their faces. Therefore, Lockdown was ordered in the entire state.

People have got down to the roads on Tuesday. Most of the shops except grocery stores, milk and meat outlets, clinics, newspaper vendors, ambulance and government offices, everything else is closed. Neither people nor vehicles are seen on roads. People are warning those who come to buy essential items and sending them back.

Transporters of essential goods are asked to use curfew passes issued by Kundapur sub divisional officer. But they should mandatorily wear mask. They are not allowed to roam around. The owners of shops have put out boards in front of medical shops and milk booths to maintain distance from each other.
