Udupi: Kasturba Hospital Manipal requests blood donation from healthy donors

Media Release

Udupi, Mar 14: Coronavirus outbreak has negatively impacted the number of blood donations. Blood donation camps scheduled are cancelled as a preventive measure and the number of donors donating blood has drastically come down. However, considering the ever-increasing demand for blood, healthy people are requested to donate blood to help the needy.

Blood donation is a safe procedure. Help is needed from the public to support the patients requiring blood and blood components. The blood bank is open from 7 am to 7 pm in the basement of the Emergency Block of Kasturba Hospital.
