Mangaluru: Carmel School celebrates International Women’s Day-2020

Mangaluru, Mar 9: To mark International Women’s Day, a throwball match and seven tiles were conducted by the management in Carmel School for the faculty who participated enthusiastically.

The English Literary Club students put up a meaningful programme focusing on the role of women in the family and the society through a skit, dance-drama and songs. The tiny tots of Kindergarten greeted the staff with a rose of appreciation and gratitude. On this occasion Sr Rose Agnes, the school administrator was honoured by the principal recognizing her ceaseless efforts and relentless services to the institution followed by the prize distribution to the winning teams of throw ball match and seven tiles.

 

 

A slide show was displayed to spread awareness among the students about coronavirus or COVID-19. Students were well informed about the various ways to take care of themselves by maintaining good hygiene wherever they go as a precautionary measure.

The programme was compered by Riana. The gathering was welcomed by Hanishka and Shrestha highlighted the importance of the day. Vote of thanks was proposed by Richa Kotian.
