Mangaluru, Mar 5: 'Karnikada Kallurti', an upcoming Tulu film directed by Mahendra Kumar, will release on April 3.
The shooting of the film was held for 70 days in and around Karkala. The budget of the movie is said to be Rs one crore.
According to the producer it will be a historical movie. "There will be 6 songs and it will be a visual treat to the cine-lovers," he says.
The film is produced under the banner ‘Phoenix Films’. The story of the film which is based on Kallurti is written by Mahendra Kumar, dialogues are by Gangadhar Kirodian, and cinematography will be handled by Umapathi. The lyrics for the songs are written by Gangadhar Kirodian and music composed by Hithen Hassan.
Shailendra D J, Chandini Anchan, Mahendra Kumar, Shalini Marakada, and others are in the cast.
