Bengaluru: PM Modi's wife Jashodaben visits Sringeri, Ramachandrapur Math

Benglauru, Mar 5: Jashodaben, wife of Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi, visited Ramachandrapur Math at Hosanagar in Shivamogga district, Sringeri in Chikkamagaluru district and Neelakanteshwara Swamy temple at Chtradurga on Wednesday, March 4 and offered special puja.

She paid obeisance at Neelakanteshwara Swamy temple in Chitradurga on Wednesday. After offering services to the Lord like ceremonial bath, Ashtottara and Maha Mangalarati, she proceeded to Ramachandrapur Math at Hosanagar. She participated in the 'Krishnarpanam' progamme held there. She performed her religious vow of offering silver umbrella there. After Mangalarati, she went to the religious meeting where she was blessed by Sri Raghaveshwara Bharathiteertha Swamiji.

Jashodaben then went to Sringeri and offered special puja to Goddess Sharadamba. She also met Jagadguru Sri Baratiteertha Swamiji and got his blessings.

She said that people should offer prayers to divine powers with clear conscience, which will ensure that the country enjoys affluence and happiness. She felt that the taking up of Ram Mandir construction by the committee as a result of the combined prayers of the populace of the country signifies that the country is moving on right direction.
