Udupi police destroy 32 kg seized ganja

Udupi, Mar 3: Ganja weighing 32.84 kgs, seized in 17 cases by Udupi District’s Cyber Crime, Economic Offences & Narcotics (CEN) police station, Manipal Police Station and Udupi Town Police Station was destroyed as per court orders.

The seized drugs were destroyed on March 2 at 5 pm at Ayush Envirotech Private Limited, Plot No 43 in Nandikuru Industrial Area, Padubidri.

Ganja Disposal Committee head and Udupi SP N Vishnuvardhan, Ganja Disposal Committee member from Udupi and Karkala sub division DySP T R Jayashankar, Kapu Circle Inspector Mahesh Prasad, CEN Police Station Inspector Seetharam, Manipal Station PSI Sridhar Nambiar, Padubidri Station PSI Subanna, Udupi Town Police Station PSI Sadashiv Gavaroji, DCRB Udupi ASI Prakash, Ayush Envirotech Pvt Limited Vice President D Martuthi Gowda and CEN Manipal and Udupi Town Police Station staff were present.
