Impact of the Khadi Mission continues to be felt among the young and not so young in different parts of our country and abroad. Khadi producing centres in Wardha, Sewagram, Gopuri, Paunar, Anandwan, Somnath, and Tapovan are doing inspiring work with the time tested Charkha, handloom, powerloom and other allied appropriate technologies for fine Khadi making. Multicultural Goa is certainly a fertile arena for the promotion and propagation of the Khadi Mission and the Khadi doctrine. In coastal Goa, temperatures in February, March, April, May and early June are indeed conducive for the Khadi Culture.

Large influx of local and foreign tourists could be made Khadi-conscious by conducting a regular Khadi Hour in each of our tourist hot spots. These distinguished visitors, guests and admirers of Indian culture would be ideal messengers to carry the Khadi tidings and philosophy to their folk in their respective regions and countries. Khadi has the potential to raise the tone and quality of life of the Khadi conscious.

Everyone should condemn this attitude of seedling ugly things in the minds of children. After all why children should concentrate on this rubbish things ? They have many things to learn in society.... Nonsense people.
