Karkala: Nandalike-Abbanadka Friends Club vicennial celebration, achievers felicitated

Karkala, Mar 2: As part of the Vicennial celebration of Nandalike-Abbanadka Sri Durgaparameshwari Friends Club achievers in various fields were felicitated at the auditorium of the organization at Kuntalagundi of Abbanadka in Nandalike.

Sri Esha Vittaladasa Swamiji of Sree Kshetra Kemaru Math gave the blessings. The programme was inaugurated by Jagadish Achar, retired teacher of Bola Vanjarakatte aided higher primary school. The programme was presided over by Abbanadka Satish Poojary, president of the club. Many eminent personalities were present on the occasion as chief guests.



Convener of the club Abbanadka Sandeep V Poojary welcomed the gathering. Secretary Nandalike Prashant Poojary read the report of the organization. The programme was compered by TV anchor Rajendra Bhat K. Secretary of Vicennial celebration committee Kasarabailu Suresh Poojary rendered the vote of thanks.

Abbanadka Saurabha award was conferred on Harish Poojary Bola (temple priest), Sridhar Kulal Kutyar (retired soldier), Sanjeeva (Deju), Kedinje (temple priest), Suresh Rao Kemmannu (organizer), Vasudeva Tantry Belman (Chef), Rajesh Sherigar Nandalike (Saxophone artiste), Sharath Shetty Kinnigoli (stage artiste), Pratima Anil Nandalike (Supervisor at SLRM), Raju Shetty Nandalike (agriculture), Sundara Poojary Bola (toddy tapper), Hariprasad Nandalike (journalist), Pundalike Marate Bantakallu (education), Udaya Mundkoor (photographer), Harish Saccheripete (TV reporter) and Kriti R Sanil Udupi (dance).

Abbanadka Ganakogile award was given to Sachith Poojary Nandalike, Sharath Devadiga Belman, Pradeep Acharya Kemmannu, Supreet Sapaliga Bola and Ashok Shetty Bola.
