Bengaluru: Colleges defy government order, start second PU classes

Bengaluru, Feb 28: Some of the private colleges, in defiance of the government order to start second PU classes on May 18, have begun to conduct classes already.

The first PU exam came to an end on February 25. Several private colleges started second PU colleges the very next day.

Classes are being taken even though result has not been announced.

It is said that syllabus teaching is completed by November and revision is undertaken thereafter. To enable students to shed the pressure, annual holidays are given. Some of the parents feel that conducting classes during holidays results in escalation of pressure on the students who do not get time to relax and get refreshed.

Some of the colleges have given one month's holiday and decided to reopen classes on March 23. They have already published their schedule.

    If we go back from present education system to old education system there will be quality students with human touch. The present system of tutorial and anxiety of students and parents results in students as machine made products. The students get nervous during exam and discrimination in tutorial school for their national. The mushroom growth of school tutorial increased cost of education. The teacher class don't have respect and paper leak is common. Masscopying and other irregularities are common. The government don't provide needed education to students. The committee supress truth because their children studying in these tutorial school I'm college/board

    education is buisness. no value for education just money making sources.. govt is silent on this. coz most polticians owns scholl colleges.

    Competitive exams are very competitive so additional classes are been conducted. PUC marks and other entrance test marks are guide for further future of the students. So it is better to have holiday classes.
