Bengaluru, Feb 26: The ninth metropolitan magistrate's court here has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against the noted actor, Rakshit Shetty, who is facing an allegation of violating Copyright Act.

Velu representing Lahari Music company had registered a complaint alleging that music and literature of a song, 'who are you?' from the movie, 'Shanthi Kranthi', on which the said company holds the copyright, was used without their permission for the film, 'Kirik Party'. Based on the said complaint, the case had been registered against Paramvahi Studios Private Ltd which produced the movie, 'Kirik Party', lead actor, Rakshit Shetty, and music director, Ajaneesh Lokanath in Jayanagar police station here.

As the accused failed to appear for the hearing of the case, the court of the ninth metropolitan magistrate here issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against the accused on February 20. It also instructed the Jayanagar police to produce the accused during the next hearing, before adjourning the case to May 6.

    I am sure Lahari team has not heard both the songs together.
    I was trying it today and figuring wat is similar 😂.
    If so was the case our dear Any Malik shud have been in some International Jail forever..

    What if the movie kirik party had flopped commercially?
    Because of introduction of 2 lines of this song , would same people who has case against would obliged to pay back for loss in movie?
    Why people are so jealous ?
    Person who invented 7 swaras he should be copyright holder ,if truth to be spoken
