In addition, she liked leftist ideology inspired by the talks of progressive thinkers. Earlier also Amulya had listened to various speeches given by Gauri Lankesh and wanted to be like her.
Amulya had pursued one year diploma course in journalism in order to be a journalist like Gauri Lankesh. She had disclosed this matter with her close friends also. This information was revealed by her to the police during the inquiry.
The organizers of the anti-CAA protest at Freedom Park had clarfied that they did not invite Amulya for the programme. However, it is proven that this was a blatant lie from the organizers.
