Bantwal: Senior citizen ends life by consuming poison

Bantwal, Feb 24: A resident of Vamadapadavu Albert Lobo (71), committed suicide at the hillock at Atrelu in B Casba village here by consuming poison. His decomposed body was found from the spot on Sunday.

A bottle of poison was found by the side of his body.

Lobo had come to Panjikallu 11 years ago, and had claimed to be an orphan. He was accommodated by a family there. After sometime, the family had admitted into an Ashram. About two weeks back, he had returned from the Ashram.

A case relating to this incident was registered in the town police station here.
