Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Feb 15: Rumours were making rounds in political circles of the state that many ministers including BC Patil and Narayana Gowda, who were newly inducted into the cabinet were not happy with the portfolio that was allotted to them by CM Yediyurappa. However, minister Narayana Gowda has given a clarification in this regard and said that he is happy with his portfolio and that JD(S) is spreading false propaganda.

CM Yediyurappa had given portfolios to the 10 newly inducted cabinet ministers, who had joined BJP from Congress and JD(S). But some ministers were not happy with the portfolios that were given to them. BC Patil was not happy with the forest ministry. So the CM changed it to agriculture.

Giving clarification that he has no resentment on the portfolio allotted to him, minister Narayana Gowda said, "Who is saying that I am not happy with the portfolio given to me by the chief minister? I have accepted gracefully the department that is given to me. CM Yediyurappa has given me three good ministries. I thank him for the same. JD(S) has spread the rumours that I am not happy with the ministry given to me by the CM."
