Mangaluru: Workshop on CBT held at St Agnes Centre for Post-Graduate Studies and Research

Mangaluru, Feb 12: The department of Psychology at St Agnes Centre for Post-Graduate Studies and Research here, conducted a workshop on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) organized by the Psychology student forum association ‘Certus Nova’.

The ceremony began by invoking the power of the Almighty through melodious voices.

Archana R Nambiar welcomed the audience and introduced the guest of honour. They were then presented a packet of seeds keeping in mind the go-green initiative undertaken by the college.

The resource person, Dr Jini Gopinath enlightened the gathering with words of wisdom about how every client leaves behind an impression in the psychologists psyche and how one must combat such encounters by going through immersive training.

Following this, the students were addressed by the pillar and strength of the college, Sr Dr Jeswina AC who stressed on the importance of being aware of themselves and only then they would be capable of helping others.

The sessions were then taken over by Dr Jini Gopinath who was set to train the students for  two days.
