Zero traffic - Ambulance rushing a baby from Mangaluru to Bengaluru

Mangaluru, Feb 6: A KMCC ambulance, is zipping from Mangaluru to Bengaluru, hoping to save a 40-day-old infant from Mangaluru, who is suffering from heart-related ailment.

The infant, Saiful Azhman, being taken in an ambulance owned by KMCC, started its journey from Fr Muller Medical College Hospital to Bengaluru’s Jayadeva Hospital.

After basic treatment, doctors at Father Muller advised specialized treatment for the infant. The ambulance started its journey towards Bengaluru in zero traffic and is expected to reach within a few hours.



The ambulance will pass thorough B C Road, Kalladka, Uppinangady, Nelyadi, Sakaleshpur, Hassan, Nelamangala and Bengaluru.

Commuters on the way are requested to help support the ambulance to reach the earliest to Jayadeva Hospital.

    If we're really living in the future, shouldn't we be beyond physically carrying and pushing our babies in a human-powered stroller? YouTuber Simone Giertz and friends decided to find out, by testing to see if a drone could effectively carry a child using a Baby Bjorn-style harness.

    Spoiler alert: it can't.

    But it sure is entertaining (and slightly horrifying) to watch it try. Perhaps in a few more decades, a robotic child-carrying assistant will be a reality, but in the meantime, parents, don't let your babies be drone cargo.

    I am sure you are not the one mentioned in your name. If you had commen sense and educated as the statue builders you would know a baby at this stage would not get a medical certificate to be airborne.

    But seeing next reportd, I feel this option was better by Road rather than air , as going to airport from mullers will take around 45 mins to 1 hour, then travel time by air atleast another hour + formalities at airport , then bangalore airport is not in city . again from airport to city will take 1 to 1.5 hrs. So summarising it will take almost same time

    I actually find your point logical when you said why not use airway when both cities have airports?

    Well I believe Kankanady to Jaydeva would be the fastest route than
    Kankanady-Bajpe Airport-Devanahalli Airport-Jayadeva
