New Delhi, Oct 19 (IANS) A year after shepherding the landmark nuclear between India and the US in the last stages of his presidency, former US President George Bush will be in New Delhi to deliver a lecture at a privately organised two-day leadership summit Oct 30-31.

Bush is set to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at his 7 Race Course residence, a reliable source said. The two leaders had developed a personal fondness for each other.

Bush has been invited by Hindustan Times, India's leading newspaper chain that organises an annual conclave that brings together leaders from different fields to the capital. Manmohan Singh will also speak at the summit.

Indo-U.S. relations began to get better while Sr. Bush was the President. His son did follow father's footsteps, and created more warm relationship with India. As the U.S. and India are getting very closer both politically and economically, more visits by the political ledaders of the past and current will bring the closeness solid.
