Daijiworld Media Network - Bidar (SP)

Bidar, Feb 4: Sections of conversation in a play presented by the students of have become bone of major controversy because they contain dialogues that were found to be derogatory of the Prime Minister and also seditious. In this connection, the local police subjected students of the school to questioning again on Monday, February 3.

An Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad leader had complained to the police about disgraceful conversation contained in a play presented by the students of the school on January 21 about Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A case of sedition has been registered on the basis of the complaint, against the head of the school governing council, headmistress Farida Begum, and parent of one of the students, Anuja Minsa. They have been arrested.

A video of the police questioning the students of the school had been widely circulated through social websites. Many have objected to the police questioning of the students in uniform while a large number of people have also opposed filming of the proceedings.

Now the students have been questioned for the fourth time. This time, the police team led by deputy superintendent of police of the district questioned the students.

Law books taught us that for any case children should not be interviewed, interrogated by the police in their uniform. They should be only in civil clothes. I hope the police won't torture these children. As usual the police force have become one sided. What is crime for one person or a community is not crime to another person or community. Hats off to the Indian police system. Thanks to the political parties for dividing the country and instilling fear, hatred, intolerance between religions.

This is a tactic of creating fear by blowing things out of proportion. Modi is not God. He is a public figure subject to criticism. People have right to express their thought and one cannot legislate people's thoughts. Sedition my foot. CAA is anti-national.

So much concern and what a detailed investigation by the police even involving small little kids. Govt is not bothered about and no action whatsoever for Kalladka Bhat's repeated inflammatory speeches against minorities and school plays drama's enactment against minorities and thier holy places. What about Modi and Shah's expletives against congress and on thier personal and family issues????....If the school play has portrayed a truth then accept it gracefully if you have guts with 56" chest.

Another massive Anti CAA protest on the same day throughout the whole of Karnataka state is the only answer . The Central Govt will only then realise the power of common people.

The children age is to play and study at this tiny age.It will have a wrong impact in the minds of children if such questions are asked again and again. What can children do.The child mind is tender and innocent.Children are the future.

We remember our Primary School days we were singing - Before God we are all equal, we should not have discrimination as we are all God's children.
What do we teach our young children, and make them drink communal poison? They will stand up and condemn us for what we teach them in the name of nationalism. Sad, by then we will be gone and enough damage done.
