The Lourdite family celebrated Founders Day on February 4 by honouring the founder, late Fr Bernard D’Souza. A great visionary, legend, man of profound values, personality par excellence.

The programme began with a prayer to thank God for his constant blessings. Jemima of class IV welcomed the gathering. Liya of class VI spoke on the thought for the day that emphasized the fact that ‘People who shine from within do not need a spotlight.’



On the occasion, the principal, Fr Robert Dsouza, vice-principal Belita Mascarenhas and student representative honoured the founder with a floral tribute and paid homage to the founder.

Brinelle enlightened the gathering by speaking on the importance of the day. She spoke on how the great founder believed that nothing is impossible and worked toward delivering quality education to the students making them better citizens of tomorrow.

The vice-principal enlightened the gathering about – Being disciplined, simple and determined the three main elements that Fr Bernard followed in his life to gain success. She further urged the gathering to follow the same and achieve success in their endevaours.

Elissa of class V proposed the vote of thanks. Deepal Shetty of class VI compered the whole programme.

The school also organized 'Lourdes Olympiad' for all the students.
