Bengaluru, Jan 31: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had recently released an advertisement to give opportunities to young and enthusiastic people to get trained through their six to eight weeks internship. Some fraudsters created similar advertisement and streamed it through email, websites and social websites. As a
result, thousands of students are remitting money to the firm, it is said. The Central Bureau of Investigation, which has advised general public to be extremely careful, has invited complaints from anyone who has lost money in this fashion.

In the advertisement, the cheaters said they would give fixed pay and other benefits. They promised employment in CBI after completion of training. They promised to provide lodging and travel facilities. The candidates have to fill online form and forward the same along with photos and payment they had said.
CBI says that there is no fee for such internship and that the selected candidates for the training have to spend their own money and travelling and lodging. It says that only a limited people are trained here and there is no guarantee of employment. As per the notification, only 30 students studying specific subjects are selected. Applications that are downloaded from CBI's official academy and website, which are completed and sent by post alone are considered. It said that completed forms have to be sent by speed post to CBI Academy, SP (training department) at CBI Academy, Ghaziabad, UP.
