Bantwal: Two painters fall from building, one dies in hospital

Bantwal, Jan 29: Two construction workers fell down from the building after losing balance at Bhandaribettu, Bantwal on Wednesday, January 29. One of them died in the hospital without responding to treatment.

The deceased worker was Kamaje resident Suresh (26) son of Narayana. Another worker Keshava has sustained serious injuries and is under treatment in the hospital.

The painting of a flat in Bhandaribettu was in progress. The workers lost balance and fell down when they were removing poles installed to stand while painting.

The workers who were seriously injured were rushed to Mangaluru hospital. Suresh who suffered serious injury to his head died without responding to the treatment. A police case is registered at Bantwal police station in this connection.
