Bengaluru, Jan 24: Driver of an Ola cab and his three accomplices, who together had inflicted sexual atrocity on a lady of foreign origin and robbed her money and ornaments, stand arrested by Doddaballapur police.

Abhishek (21), an Ola car driver living at Marathhalli in the city, was arrested on January 22. Three boys who were arrested for being partners in crime with the driver, were produced in Juvenile Justice Board, said Bengaluru rural district superintendent o police Ravi D Channanavar.

The foreign woman had boarded the car driven by Abhishek at Kammanahalli on the night of January 16 to go to Navajyothi Street. After some distance, the driver picked up his three friends. Instead of going to Navajyothi Circle, the gang took the lady to Alahalli near Doddaballapur. In a deserted place, Abhishek and three others sexually abused her, attacked her, and fled after forcibly taking away her money, mobile phone and ornaments.

This case was registered in Doddaballapur rural police station relating to this incident.
