Mangaluru, Jan 20: A total of 162 units of blood was collected from blood donation camps organized by Blood Help Line Karnataka (R) on Sunday, January 19 at three different venues in Dakshina Kannada District.
Public blood donation camp organised by Helpline Group Karaya and Koti Chennayya Friends Club Maripade Kalleri, in association with Yenepoya hospital Deralakatte was held successfully at Taj Complex Karaya, Uppinangady.
A total of 54 members donated blood voluntarily. The camp was inaugurated by Shahul Hameed, president, Badriya Jumma Masjid Karaya. K S Darimi Ustad gave blessing message and Abdul Samad DK, presided over the programme. Haris Kausari delivered preliminary speech.
Jaya Vikrama, Shekunhi Karaya, Kishore Kumar Panjikudelu, Jayarama Saliyan, Tajuddin, Ayyub DK, Naveen Kumar, Ananthakrishna Kudmannaya, Shibabal, Mahalinga K, William Lobo, Abdul Rahiman, Ansar and admins of Blood Helpline Karnataka (R) Shafi Mani and Razween were also present.
Abdul Faizi delivered vote of thanks. Doctors and staff of Yenepoya Hospital coordinated in collecting blood from donors.
Ulaaibettu
UBT Help Guys in association with AJ Hospital Mangaluru, conducted successful public blood donation camp at Dakshina Kannada District Panchayat, Government Model Primary School Ulaaibettu. A total of 55 members voluntarily came forward to donate blood. Abdul Kunhi, president Sdmc, Isak, Gen Sec AKU, panchayat member Abdul Rahman, Chetan Koppa, school HM and Admins of Blood Helpline Karnataka (R) Samir Ulaaibettu, Azhar Ulaaibettu, Imran baithaar and Mansoor Ulaaibettu were present. Doctors and staff of AJ Hospital Mangaluru, members of UBT help guys coordinated in collecting blood from donors.
Addoor
Public Blood Donation camp in association with Wenlock District hospital Mangaluru was held successfully in Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat higher primary school Addoor. A total of 54 members donated blood. Admins of Blood Helpline Karnataka (R) Imran Addoor, Mehthab Kaikamba and Irshad Adddor were present. Doctors and staff of Wenlock District Hospital Mangaluru, coordinated in collecting blood from donors.
