Moodbidri, Dec 31: Fr Jesudas D’Costa, parish priest, Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church, Gantalkatte, suffered injuries after the car he was travelling met an accident near Mahaveera College here, on Monday evening, December 30.

A car moving towards Moodbidri hit Fr Jesudas’ car. The priest’s leg was fractured.

He was admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.

Moodbidri police registered a case.

    Accidents are keep on increasing in Mangalore at ALRAMING rate...most of them are bus accidents. This is the time to implement ‘Defensive Driving Program’ of just 45 minutes video based program at Govt based primises every 5 yrs(Not Pvt)..that make everybody safe and the person who steped out in the early morning will be back at evening ..
    Cost of the program should not be more than one time small lunch box money.. means affordable ..Itz that simple..

    Fr. Jesudas's leg got fractured and was undergoing an operation today in the noon. I am sure, by the presence of Almighty God, his operation is successful and he is recovering. Let us pray for his recovery.
