Mumbai, Sep 11: Governor of Maharashtra, S C Jamir, will launch the first comprehensive Children’s Heart Care Unit, at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Four Bungalows, Andheri (West), here at 10.45 am on Sunday, September 13.
Governor’s wife Alemla Jamir, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital chairperson Tina Ambani, chief paediatric cardiac surgeon Dr Suresh Rao and others will attend the programme.
Governor S C Jamir, accompanied by Alemla Jamir, will preside over the 38th Annual Freshers’ Day, organized by the Naga Students’ Union Mumbai at Marathi Bhasha Bhavan, University of Mumbai, Kalina Campus, Vidyanagari, Santacruz (East), here at 12.00 pm on Sunday.
Students from Nagaland, studying in the metro, will present a cultural programme on this occasion.
He will inaugurate the All India Flag Day for the Blind, organized by National Association for the Blind at Raj Bhavan, here at 11.00 am on Monday September 14, which is also being observed as the All India Flag Day for the Blind by the National Association for the Blind.
