Kasargod, Dec 13: Kerala Tulu Academy has decided to host a national Tulu symposium at Nellikunje Lalitha Kalasadana here, on December 17 and 18 to revive the Tulu language and culture.
The symposium that is being held for the first time in Kasargod will be inaugurated by the minister of electricity, A M Mani on December 17 at 10 am. MLA N A Nellikunnu will chair the programme. MP Raj Mohan Unnithan will be the chief guest. DC Dr D Sajith Babu will release the trimonthly magazine ‘Thembere’. Kaveri Janapada University former vice-chancellor, Dr Chinnappa Gowda will present the keynote address.
