Mangaluru: ‘Evergreen Melodies’ - Tribute paid to living legends SPB and S Janaki

Mangaluru, Dec 8: ‘Evergreen Melodies', a tribute to the living legends S P Balasubrahmanyam and S Janaki, was held on December 7 at Town Hall in city. 

The event was organised by ‘Walfloora‘, an exclusive showroom of sanitaryware having rare collections in Mangaluru. The event was powered by Supra Lights, Bhandary Builders, Ideal Ice Cream and Surabhi Sounds and Lightings. 

Lakshmish Bhandary, managing director of Bhandary Builders, welcomed the dignitaries, sponsors and singers with flower bouquets. 

Kannada playback singers Ajay Warrier and Archana Udupa enthrall the audience by singing songs which were originally sung by S P Balasubrahmanyam and S Janaki, and paid tribute to the living legends. 

A large number of music lovers especially the fans of S P Balasubrahmanyam and S Janaki witnessed the event.

    SP. Balasubramanyam and his memorable songs in many languages are unmatched.His soulful singing is still not matched by anyone barring Jesudas - two greats.His songs in ek duje ke liye were top hits in the early 90s.
