Panaji, Sep 4: Shantaram Naik M.P. has been appointed as a Member of Standing Committee on Personnel, Public Grievances, Law and Justice by Notification issued by Rajya Sabha Secretariat recently.
Jayanthi Natarajan is a Chairperson of the Committee. Other members of the Committee are Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Balavant alias Bal Apte, Parshottam Khodabhai Rupala, Virendra Bhatia, Tiruchi Siva, Sardar Tarlochan Singh and Parimal Nathwani.
Central Bureau of Investigations, Central Vigilance Commission, Administration of All India Services, Union Public Service Commission, Administrative Reforms including E-Governance are covered under the Jurisdiction of this Committee.
